Eco-Panda model Bianca Peters was crowned Miss Malibu 2010 on August 23rd, 2009 at a private estate in Malibu. Eco-Panda was the official sponsor for the Miss Malibu contestant who is one of the swimwear models behind the Eco-Panda brand.

Bianca, a 19-year old college student and model, wore Eco-Panda's "Marrakech" halter bikini in her pre-pageant swimwear photos, and the "Mandalay" halter bikini was her bikini of choice for the competition. The Miss Malibu Pageant was a star-studded affair, featuring celebrity judges such as Khloe Kardashian, Ludacris, Michael Yo, Elisabeth Rohm, and event hosts Tami Farrell, current Miss California USA, and Ross King, with entertainment by Ryan Cabrera and Michael Johns.
